Atravi The « ferme de la Borde » dating back to
the 17th century
The Ferme de la Borde past seigniory of the
Marquis of Bruyère Chalabre was built at the
beginning of the 17th century. King Henry IV used the
grounds for his hunting excursions during this period.
From the 18th century until the beginning of the 20th
century, it was used primarily for agriculture and livestock
management. Thereafter it was bought by a rich American
entrepreneur who created the foundation taking his name
TUCK STELL which is well mentioned by the
Rueil-Malmaison hospital. The agricultural produce helped
the Parisian population during the Second World War.
After the war, its vocation changed and the buildings were
partly converted into an inn, then after more than 20 years
of neglect, it was rebuilt to its present state.
