Other important towns :
Cork : 409,814 inhabitants
Galway : 180,304 inhabitants
Limerick : 161,856 inhabitants
Waterford : 91,608 inhabitants

The Irish islands :

Cape Clear Island : is an inhabited island where the inhabitants speak Gaelic. You can get there from Schull, Co.Cork.
Sherkin Island : get there from Baltimore, Co.Cork.
Dursey Island : you can get there by cable car
Garinish Island : get there from Glengariff, Co.Cork.
Skellig Michael Blasket Islands : a small archipelego, made up of 7 islands, you can get to the biggest of them from Dingle, Co.Kerry. This archipelego was inhabited until 1953, but is totally deserted today, only sheep live there.
Aran Islands : you can get to this group of islands by boat or by plane from Galway. The three islands are inhabited, they are called Inishore (the most populated), Inishmaan and Inisheer. Gaelic is generally spoken there.

Other islands : Inishbofin, Clare Island, Inishmurry Island, Arranmore Island, Tory Island, Ireland’s Eye, Dalkey Island and Saltee Islands.
