Visitors from the European Union need to have a
valid identity card or a passport, which can be
valid or out of date for less than 5
years.

If you are
settling in the country, members of the European
community have to apply for a residence
permit.

You can bring
household pets (dogs or cats) into the country if
you have an up-to-date anti-rabies certificate,
which has to be translated into German (you can get
a form from the Austrian Tourist Board).
Health
There are no obligatory vaccinations.
